Biography

Beau Flores got an early start in government affairs.

As president of the student body at Colorado Mesa University, he was often called upon to testify and speak on behalf of the college. While in college, he also began working for 76 Group on canvassing and petition efforts for both candidates and campaigns.

After graduating in 2020 with a degree in writing and English, he was hired full-time as Western Slope project manager in the firm’s Grand Junction office, providing support for clients through event planning, volunteer management and coalition building.  

Now an indispensable part of the firm’s lobbying team at the Colorado statehouse, he continues to foster his strong relationships with lawmakers from the Western Slope and around the state.

Originally from Oahu, Beau traded in the beautiful beaches for the mountains to attend CMU, where he competed in the hammer throw event in track and field.

Beau lives now lives in Aurora. When he’s not at the Capitol, Beau loves to work out and travel, both home to Hawaii and beyond.
