Biography

Crystal brings over a decade of dedicated service in law enforcement and specializes in both community relations and communications.

As an experienced police officer and former Public Information Officer at metro area police department, Crystal has extensive expertise in crisis communications, engaging community leaders and managing conflicts, and creating and delivering messaging that breaks down communication silos among various interest groups and local governments.

Comfortable both behind and in-front of the camera, she is a skilled spokesperson and adept at handling all types of media relations. Additionally, she has experience in risk management, safety protocols and crime prevention surrounding large events, hospitals and major infrastructure projects.

Crystal is a board member for the Colorado National Guard Foundation, a nonprofit that helps soldiers in financial need, and she serves on a statewide board for emergency services’ communicators. She lives in Castle Rock with her husband Geoff, a retired veteran, and their four teenage children.
